(Allow access from the browser to Topaz and DynamSoft software)
What this page is for:
Chrome and Edge have added security measures that can block access from our website (rxsystem.com) to
installed software from Topaz (used with signature pads) and DynamSoft (used to scan documents).
This page helps you turn on “Local Network Access” so the browser can talk to that software when needed.
Quick setup: Use the setup file
Click this button to download the setup file:
Your browser may show a message asking if you want to keep or open the file.
Choose the option to Keep or Save the file.
If you see a security warning such as “This type of file can harm your computer”
or “This file isn’t commonly downloaded”, this is normal for a .bat file.
Only run this file if you got it from rxsystem.com.
After it finishes downloading:
Open your Downloads folder.
Find AllowLocalNetworkAccess_RxSystem.bat.
Right-click the file and choose Run as administrator.
Windows may ask “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”.
If so, click Yes.
The batch file will add settings in the Windows registry for Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome that will allow Local Network Access for rxsystem.com sites.
A command window will open and it will wait till you press any key to continue.
After you press return it will only take a second to add the entries to the registry.
Press return again to close the command window.
Close all Edge and Chrome windows, then reopen your browser and sign in to rxsystem.com again.
