This test is intended to work with a Topaz T-LBK766SE-BHSB-R 4x5 LCD signature pad.

Pen is not working properly (calibrate).
How to Calibrate your Signature Pad
To calibrate your signature pad:
1)
Unplug the USB cable, then plug it back in, while holding the pen tip in the upper left corner.
2)
IN CALIBRATION MODE will be displayed in the middle of the screen.
3)
Lift the pen from the pad.
4)
A tiny line will be in the left corner of the screen where you had the pen tip.
5)
Tap the upper left corner again.
5)
The line will disappear.
6)
Now there will be a similar line in the lower right corner of the screen.
7)
Tap the pen in the lower right corner.
8)
Screen is now calibrated.
Screen is dark or appears to be off.
How to Adjust Back Light Brightness
To adjust the back light brightness:
1)
Unplug the USB cable, then plug it back in, while holding the pen tip in the upper right corner.
2)
The screen will have two targets.
3)
Tap the left target to dim.
4)
Tap the right target to brighten.
5)
Tap rectangle when done.
Pen is not working properly (Test).
How to Test your Pen
To Test your Pen:
1)
Unplug the USB cable, then plug it back in.
2)
Wait for the screen to be ready.
3)
With the Topaz attached pen, scribble on the pad.
4)
To thoroughly test it, scribble over most every area of the pad.
Verify you have a LBK766SE device.
Find the Topaz Signature Device's Model number
The full model number is on the bottom of the signature device:
1)
Flip the signature pad over.
2)
See the example to the right.
Or the power on screen shows part of the model number:
1)
Unplug the USB cable, then plug it back in.
2)
When text appears on the Topaz screen, take a picture of the text.
3)
Compare the image to the right with your picture.
4)
Your picture should have the model number in the same spot thats highlighted in the image to the right
